Taiyuan Iron & Steel Company Ltd plans to raise April 2008 prices for austenitic stainless steel to cope with high nickel price. As per report Taiyuan Iron & Steel Company Ltd CR austenitic stainless steel price stood at CNY 32100 per tonne in March 2008 and the price is expected to rise by CNY 1600 per tonne to CNY 2000 per tonne in April 2008. It pulled up price by CNY 300 per tonne for ferritic stainless steel in March in response to ferrochrome price advances. |
