|Hadid Hamah produces 41,977 tons in first 9 months of 2010

The General Company of Iron & Steel Products (Hadid Hamah) in Hamah, Syria produced 41,977 tons of high and medium tensile rebar in the first 9 months of 2010 in the worth of SYP1.141 bln.
Eng. Badee' Shannan, General Manager, says that the company also produced 38,949 tons of steel billets during the aforementioned period, in addition to 120,000t of forged steel. The company sold products amounting to nearly 37,000 tons of rebar to the worth of USD10.260 mln.
Mr. Shannan pointed out that the scrap melt-shop received machines for pouring liquid steel from the Indian company Apollo, along with water cooling circuits and 4 mobile bridges within the framework of the plant development project.
