| New meltshop of Ozkan Demir to start billet production very soon |

Turkish sections roller Ozkan Demir Celik is expected to start production at its new meltshop very soon which has a Capacity of 700,000 tpy and it will replace the billet purchased from CIS and local producers. The new meltshop will be producing 160-250mm billets. Ozkan Demir Celik produces 20-200mm light and heavy sections and has 500,000 tpy capacity at its rolling mill in Izmir, Aliaga. The company has cut its production by 25% due to slowdown in the European market and the company now focus on MENA region. |
